RehabCare reports strong first quarter results

RehabCare Group Inc., a Clayton-based operator of rehabilitation centers, said first quarter earnings and revenues rose, driven by growth in each core operating division.
Net income rose to $8.66 million, or 48 cents per share, versus $4.51 million, or 25 cents per share. Operating revenue for the quarter rose to $203.4 million up from $182 american cash advance.4 million.
The company said it would not be providing earnings projections for the year, but it expects strong consolidated revenue and net income growth for 2009.
