PANERA BREAD: Price hikes boost profit

Panera Bread Co. on Thursday reported higher fourth-quarter profit as price increases helped the company outrun higher costs for ingredients, as well as a decline in transactions at company-owned stores.
The Richmond Heights bakery-cafe company said net income rose to $26 million, or 84 cents a share, in the quarter ended Dec no credit check payday loans. 30 from $18 million, or 56 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue jumped 19 percent to nearly $358 million.
