Kroenke in his own words
Kroenke speaks out …
On the Rams
"We’ve had good teams. And, last few years, not-so-good teams. But the Rams will be good. I can guarantee that."
More on the Rams
"The Rams, we’ve had streaks where we were damn competitive for a long time. We were the best of the best. So what we have to do in the Rams is smooth that out a little. And I think with the Rams, I think with Chip (Rosenbloom, who is selling his majority stake in the team), I think we got off in how we were picking our players and that’s what hurt."
On past Rams and Nuggets draft picks
"I don’t tell them who to pick. There were several times I should have. … There were picks we’ve missed and there was strong feeling we should’ve gone the other direction, but hindsight is always 20-20. What I emphasize on all this is process no fax pay day loans."
On the Edward Jones Dome and Rams’ option to leave St. Louis
"I know that’s a hot subject in St. Louis. You know, you’ve got to get into it. I haven’t spent a lot of time on it. I haven’t focused on that. … But I know that you have to have a model that works. I don’t think anybody in St. Louis that’s smart in business will tell you any different than that. So you just have to get into it. You have to see how the model works. And then you have to be sure you can have a viable situation."
On his reluctance to talk about his teams
"To me, actions always speak louder than words. It’s easy to say stuff."
