HOUSE BUILDERS: Index of confidence rises

Confidence among U.S. house builders rose for a second straight month, the first back-to-back increase in almost a year, as the number of prospective buyers touring houses increased.

The National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo index of builder sentiment increased to 20, from 19 in January, the Washington-based group said pay day loans. Levels under 50 mean most respondents view conditions as poor.
